iOS Remakes of the Veteran Amerzone, Gobliins 2, Can Knockdown 2, and First Touch Football

Soon the abundant number of games of the App Store will increase in a few upcoming new ones. Game developer Anuman Interactive announced about their developing an iOS remake of their 1999 release Amerzone game, previously available only in PC and PlayStation One formats.

The game puts players in the shoes of a young journalist carrying out a mission of saving a species of magical birds. The game is a part of the developer’s strategy of remaking their major, most successful titles into the format of such mobile devices as iPad or iPhone. Amerzone belongs to the category of typical adventure games capable of exciting successive generations of gamers. The release of Amerzone is scheduled for April 2011. The next upcoming game is a remake of 1992 Gobliins 2 developed by DotEmu and publisher BulkyPix.

The game belongs to the point and click genre, and the remake version follows the intrigue of the original game, where two goblins (named Winkle and Fingus) are on the mission of releasing the King's son from the evil Amoniak. Players are given access to control both goblins and use the unique skills of each of them to complete the game's puzzles. Gobliins 2 is expected for an iPhone release in March. Can Knockdown 2 is a game for those who sometimes feel like grabbing a gun and shooting something. The game developer, Infinite Dreams, announced that the game will be available for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. The game available in three modes - Classic, Sniper and Hit-The-Target - features realistic sound and physics as well as full Game Center Support.

And, finally, for all sports games fans the developer X2 Games announced the release of First Touch Football game from the series of X2 Football. The game is promised to offer a lot of new solutions, such as new player models, new visual style, new player data and many others. These changes were made basing on the feedback the developers were receiving for several months from loyal fan base that helped to improve some key areas of the game.

And just to make it clear: "football" here doesn't stand for American football.
